Cath and Paul are at it again - this time it was at Framlingham in Suffolk - thats another free drink for them. Well done!
Two more Castle Inn spots
Free drinks abound for Cath and Paul after their two Castle Inn spots - the one on the left is in Newcastle Co Wicklow Ireland and the second was a Chiddingstone.
Remember get your photo taken with a new Castle Inn and show Mel or Kevin and you get a free drink! The next time you are in the pub look for the cork board with the photos to date pinned to it.

Ok - time for a new summer activity - Castle Pub spotting - when you are out and about and see a Castle pub, take a picture of you outside it and email it/drop off a copy at the pub with Mel or Kev and you'll win a free drink if you are the first to "spot" that pub.

Our First "Come Dine with Me" evening
The honour of being our first guest chef goes to Noi - everyone who has tasted her thai food is always very complimentary and so she was a natural choice for our inaugural event.
The meal will be a set 3 course dinner. We will confirm the price
nearer the date.
The menu will be a mixed platter to start (consisting of spring
rolls, chicken sate, golden bags and prawn wraps).
Main course of either green or red medium chicken curry (we will need
to know the choice of this for the evening) this will be served with rice and
noodles.
For dessert it will be Sticky Rice with Mango.
We will need to close all bookings the week before so that we have
confirmed numbers for the night.
If you are interested in attending, please either ask at the bar or
give us a ring.

At last - we are on the web!
Well it's taken a while to
get sorted but we have it up and working. We'll be using this site to up date
everyone of events and activities happening at The Castle as well as the
various pages providing the normal points of reference like menu's, wine lists
and photos of dogs!
Our next event is our now
famous Santa's Sack & Pass the Parcel that runs on Christmas eve.
If you want to get involved,
ask one of the team and they'll tell you what you need to do.
In the new year we have
loads more planned including the return of our food nights (Curry night
Sausage night, Pie night,
Fish & Chip night, Roast night are amongst the possible runners and riders)
Then we are also hoping to
introduce a regular theme night including:-

• Quiz Night
• Re Vinyl Night
